A Sol PHILOSOPHY

How I understand life and choose to live it

My philosophy has taken shape through experience, questioning, mistakes and reflection. It brings together what I seek from life, how I understand its stages, and the capabilities I wish to develop.

These topics explain the thinking behind my choices. I share them as a Student of Life, gradually learning to put that understanding into practice.

Purpose of Life: Peace, Happiness, Quality of Life and Longevity—the four aspirations that guide my choices.

Stages of Life: Learning, Discovery, Commitment and Legacy—how I understand the unfolding of my life.

Elements of Life: Passion, Profession, Vocation and Mission—exploring what draws me, sustains me and gives direction to my work.

Wellbeing: Caring for the physical, intellectual, emotional, spiritual, social, occupational and financial aspects of life.

Life Skills: The twelve skills I consider important for navigating life and translating intention into action.

My 13 Dimensions: Thirteen interconnected areas through which I am gradually bringing my philosophy into everyday practice.

Dimension of Wellbeing

My body and mind accompany me through everything I do. This dimension is about learning to care for both through ordinary daily choices, while exploring what it means to live peacefully and well.
